Pinglar and your Viremail account
Pinglar uses your Viremail account, inside Viremail and on its own at pinglar.com.
Pinglar is chat, calls and stories from Viremail. You do not need a second account: your Viremail account is your Pinglar account.
You can use it in two places, and they are the same chats:
- Inside Viremail: open Pinglar from the side bar, or the speech bubble in the top bar.
- On its own at pinglar.com: sign in with your Viremail address and password, or a passkey, and you go straight to your chats.
Pings, calls, stories, groups and your encryption settings are the same in both. A ping you read in one shows as read in the other.
Signing in on pinglar.com
pinglar.com keeps its own sign-in, so signing in or out there does not change Viremail in the same browser, and the other way round. Passkeys you made on viremail.com work on pinglar.com too.
New to Viremail?
Creating an account on pinglar.com creates a Viremail account. It gives you a Viremail email address as well as Pinglar, and works across Viremail and Pinglar.
Apps for your phone
Apps for iPhone and Android are coming soon, and they will sign in with the same account. Until then, open pinglar.com in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen.
